This weekend we celebrate Memorial Day across our nation.  1.1 million men and women have died in battles to preserve our many freedoms. 

Sunday we’ll talk about how this observance began and its spiritual implications for us today. 

Romans 13:7 speaks of rendering honor and respect to those who deserve it.  Those who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms deserve such honor and respect.  May the physical, however point to the spiritual. 

There is another war and another Warrior that deserves our honor and respect. This Sunday will be about remembering His mission, His sacrifice, and His promise to return again.
